Amazon shipped this item me very quickly and I installed it just today.Installation with this fan was trickier than others I had installed.There were too many screws, literally...I had screws left over and I followed the instructions precisely.The install took about 2 hours.
The fan is very quiet, and the light is sufficient.I wish the light could dim, but I knew it couldn't going into it.I'd check the Hunter website and make sure the blades co-ordinate with your existing decor...the website shows the true colors more accurately than Amazon's pictures.

I bought this fan because it (a) is a hugger fan, meaning it's not very tall, (b) is available in white--so it tends to blend in with the ceiling color, and (c) does not require you to use a remote control (I already had two wall switches for it and many of the remote control ones won't let you wire for use without the remote AND maintain full control).
