Casablanca Fans 3245T 53" Stealth Contemporary Nickel Ceiling Fan w Light, Wall Ctrl & B32-79 Blades Review

This is one of the most disappointing fan I've ever owned. It has already needed replacing 2 times and when the light went out the glass could not be removed and when I called tech support they told me to shatter the glass and they would send a new one. Why would I spend $600 for something that requires me to shatter glass all over my house. Just trying to remove the glass has destroyed the fans alignment and I am now afraid to turn the fan on due to its wild spinning.
$600 + 3 hours of my life wasted on calls to the manufacture and frustration to change a little light = very disappointed. Will never buy Casablanca again.

Casablanca 3211T 53" Stealth Contemporary Snow White Ceiling Fan w/ Light, Wall Ctrl & B32-11 Blades Review

We chose this for our media room because of its modern styling (and
my wife wanted to add an overhead light to the room.) The fan and remote
operate perfectly, no wobble, smooth, quiet, the best. The light is another matter. It's one tiny 100w halogen bulb in a frosted glass dish.
The light output is meager at best, they should have put two bulbs
in there for it to have any real usefulness.(see customer images)
The light assembly is also not up to Casablanca's usual high standard.
The globe/dish mounts into a cheesy stamped aluminum pan with a bayonet
type mount ( push in and twist to lock ) My assembly must have been on
the extremes of manufacturing size tolerances (large diameter globe,
small diameter aluminum pan) because it wouldn't rotate and lock all the
way. When I tried to unlock it, the entire lamp pan assembly started
turning instead of just the globe.
It's jammed in there, half locked, so I'm not worried about it falling out, but when the lamp finally blows I'll have to remove the entire fan
assembly from its mount in the ceiling and take it to the service center
(which thankfully is in the next town) and pay to have them repair it.
I contacted customer service, and this isn't covered under the warranty. So if you really need a room light with your fan, buy a more
traditional Casablanca design.

Casablanca 32G45T Stealth Ceiling Fan, Brushed Nickel Review

Have had this fan over 5 years now and love it.Has many speeds and even at maximum speed it runs quietly and doesn't wobble or shake.I had someone install it so I cant comment about of ease of installation.Fan looks great and really moves air.

Hunter Fans 25753 48" The Retro Contemporary Indoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan w/ Light & Blades Review

This is an attractive, well built fan that fits perfectly into my kitchen which has a 1950's stove, fridge and sink.However, the amount of light is insufficient.It could be corrected with a different glass dome - if one existed, a clear glass could make all the difference.The manufacturer could increase the number of bulbs in this fan, but for those of us who already own this model, we need another option.

Minka-Aire Fans F601-BS/BN 52" Acero Contemporary Brushed Steel Ceiling Fan w/ Light & Wall Ctrl Review

The style of this fan would be equally at home in a more modern home as it was in our 1927 craftsman bungalow kitchen.The pitch of the blades does a great job circulating air without generating an excessive amount of wind, although be sure to measure the blade length to make sure they don't hit your cabinet doors when open!

DIY-ers beware:The only drawback to this fan is the wiring connection inside the optional light fixture isn't very well designed.The neutral wire is tucked safely behind the bulb socket and away from the incredibly hot halogen bulb.The hot wire, however, hangs close enough to the bulb to melt through the insulation and sever the connection.I wound up having to repair my wire twice, finally resorting to wire-tying it to the neutral, which still remained safely tucked behind the hot part.

Wiring issues aside, we are planning to purchase another of these fans for our new house when we move next month.
