This is my third Hunter Low Profile Fan.Previous two were older, four blade models.This latest one did not disappoint.Moves the air in total silence (on lowest fan setting).This was important to me because I installed it in my bedroom and I can't tolerate a fan that makes any noise.

Casablanca C17G8A Vita Ceiling Fan, Matte Black Review

Love the design of this fan.Very quiet and lots of extras included in the product.Only drawback is that it provides very little light.If you are looking for a fan that provides high strength lighting this may not be the fan for you.The wattage of the light bulbs suggested is limited.I will need another type of light in the room where it is installed.If that is not a concern I would highly recommend this fan.Love the security feature it provides.

I purchased this fan several months ago. Soon after purchasing, the motor blew on it. I understand that sometimes things go wrong, so I contacted the Air King customer service. Their attitude was completely hostile to me from the very beginning. First they said they would send a replacement, then they said I would have to ship it back and they may or may not fix it. The single worst customer service experience I've ever had- it made going to the DMV seem like good times...

Beautiful fan, but uses small base(e12)style light bulbs. I use CFL's in most everything, and the candelabra lamps are often hard to find and 2-3X the price of an Edison (regular) style lamp.
