I bought this fan as a replacement for an older, bigger, noisy fan. I looked at several fans and was interested in the 42" blades. Hunter has a few fans in this category and I ordered this one. The fan arrived and I had it installed by professional electricians.The fan had an audible hum so I contacted Hunter. They sent me a new lower housing unit. The hum was still there, so I returned the fan to Del Mar. They sent me a new fan and this one works great. I give Del Mar high marks for their customer support. They helped me all the way. I now have 2 Hunter fans and they both work great.
